Rambler rambles
Its been a few days, I had to recover from this weekend. Big B and I went out, thanks to Grama A., we tied one on.....actually he did and I just enjoyed the freedom. Sunday I made dinner for us plus our moms. My dad is back east. Anyways I made cornbeef and cabbage for dinner and then experimented on dessert. I made cupcakes, they were really good. I used spice cake recipe and carmelized some apples, which I used to top the cupcake. I baked them like that and then added cream cheese drizzle. They were awesome. I have pictures and I will post the recipe later.
I painted a picture today, its kind of Tim Burton-esque, not his movie but his drawings like Oyster boy. I'm not done with it seeing that Gryffin woke up. Its really macabre looking. I cant escape my goth past, not that I've ever tried to.
I had to take my Jeep to the dealership for a recall and it wont be done until tomorro, I feel incomplete without my vehicle, I guess it will force me to get some housework done.....like laundry.....Sorry Big B. Here I am using valuable free time to type this that I'm sure I am the only one who reads, but since I boycotted Myspace I have emotions pent up. I love to vent my frustrations on the worldwide web full of strangers.
Okay back on track..I really hope Big B gets the job in Phoenix, I am so ready to live near or in a City. I want to take Gryffin to the Zoo or a museum or be able to walk outside and not be blown away by 100 mph winds. Most importantly getting out of this blackhole town. Even though I would like to finish my degree here I would jump at the chance to leave just so Big B can follow his dream. Ok I'm done rambling and realize I need to get dinner ready......the end.

Yay motivation!
So I was feeling rather creative this week. I went to my local Hobby Lobby and *ta-da* they were having a sale. Clothing patterns were 99 cents and sales on all art supplies. Now I have never painted other than as a child and my walls....that doesn't count. So I picked up canvases, brushes and acrylic paints. I have been completely intrigued with Mexican folk art. I love the abstract and bold colors they use. However, first thing first Gryffin needs artwork for his room. With his undying obsession with Sesame Street I painted the first installment of 4 paintings. I think its pretty cool. Take a look

Nothing super fancy but pretty good for a beginner if I do say so myself!
Hopefully Gryffin will fall asleep soon so I can start the Count Von Count.....I'm soooo inspired!

Disclaimer

I'm hoping this blog will be full of my manic creativeness. I love to create and be artistic. Unfortunately I am a procrastinator. With all my energy and determination I am going to leave that curse behind........*fingers crossed*
This blog will be filled with different crafts, writings, etc..whatever I feel like that day. So enjoy.........
